About this project
The W820NB is one of those headphones that punches well above its price point. Active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.0, and a foldable design that looks more expensive than it is. Edifier has always been good at this: making consumer audio that doesn't feel like a compromise.
I've done a few shoots with their team over the years, and the W820NB came together the same way those usually do. They send the product, I handle the creative. No mood boards, no revision loops. Just trust and a turnaround.
For this one, I kept things tight and minimal. The matte finish and subtle curves on this pair photograph well when you give them room, so most frames are close up with a lot of negative space. The warm, dark setup let the texture of the cushions and headband come through, especially where they catch directional light.
Nothing overly produced. Just the product, clean light, and enough restraint to let the design speak for itself.
